The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has introduced a smart public announcement system to issue real time warnings to traffic violators and people littering in public places, strengthening smart traffic management and civic discipline in the city.
Integrated with the Integrated Traffic Management Centre (ITMC) and Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC), the system will broadcast live audio alerts at major intersections against traffic rule violations, spitting and waste dumping.
The smart city infrastructure project, inspired by Surat’s model, has been launched at Rambagh Circle, with 20 locations including Narayan Singh Circle and Sanganer Circle identified for installation. The Rs 37.83 lakh project will be integrated with the Abhay Command Centre by July 15.
