The City Civic body is considering a proposal to have a replica of the existing ‘video wall’ to keep tabs on strategic locations in the City. The only ‘video wall’ at the disaster management control room gives live feed from 5,000 CCTV cameras placed across the city. The feed is made available to the police. At a time feed from 50 cameras is seen on the wall. During monsoon, the footage is helpful to check waterlogged areas and to monitor traffic.
