To improve public transport and traffic management, an MoU has been signed between Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee and Dehradun Smart City Ltd. Under the MoU, IIT-R will provide services and research on different aspects of urban planning, including electric mobility plan, public transport system, traffic plan and energy-saving plans.
