The Agra Municipal Corporation (AMC) has decided to upgrade traffic signals under the integrated traffic management system (ITMS), which will help in better vehicular movement. The  corporation will equip 22 major crossings with advanced traffic lights.
The first pair of advanced traffic lights will be installed at Sai ki Takia junction, will work on solar power. All crossings quipped with these signals will be monitored by a centralized control room.
