Ganga Expressway project gets nod

Ganga Express Way — Ganga Expressway project gets nod

The Bihar government has approved in principle the Ganga Expressway project to ease traffic congestion on the roads in Patna. The proposed Expressway would be 21.5km long, running along the Ganga, with an estimated completion time of three years. About 222 hectares of land is needed for the project out of which 54 hectares is private property which has to be acquired. The rest of the land belongs to the government.
