ChargeZone plans to deploy over 1,000 supercharging stations across key national highway corridors in India by FY27, aiming to scale high speed charging capacity in line with accelerating EV adoption. The expansion targets highways and freight routes, where charging access remains limited despite rapidly rising demand driven by transport electrification.
The rollout will follow a Dealer Owned Company Operated (DOCO) model, allowing private investors and landowners to fund the stations while ChargeZone manages operations. Each site is expected to offer capacities ranging from 500 kW to 1.5 MW, serving both passenger and commercial electric vehicles.
The network will span major intercity routes including Delhi-Mumbai, Bengaluru-Hyderabad, Mumbai-Hyderabad, Delhi-Chandigarh, and Bengaluru-Chennai. To support participation, the company has partnered with State Bank of India to provide financing options, enabling investors to access loans for setting up charging infrastructure.
