AI-TMS in Hyderabad soon

The Telangana government plans to introduce an Artificial Intelligence-based TMS in Hyderabad to address traffic problems, a major challenge due to the increasing number of vehicles on the road. An automatic traffic signaling system is to be implemented along with a comprehensive plan to ease traffic flow. “Free left” turns will be developed more efficiently and CCTV cameras across the three police commissionerates in Hyderabad will be integrated. The government has also recruited home guards and other personnel to support traffic management and a dedicated police station will be established in Cyberabad to handle financial offences.
