As per the reports, the Government is considering leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) as a part of an advanced version of the PM Gati Shakti platform to fast-track infrastructure development. The platform to be developed could boost economic development by intelligently undertaking risk assessment, according to sources.
Considering various scenarios, the AI-backed system would be able to analyse and foresee economic and sectoral development, including probable growth rate, and infrastructure requirement. The initiative with integrated planning and synchronised project implementation across departments and state governments, incorporates a dynamic Geospatial data platform to derive logistic efficiency by addressing critical infrastructure gaps.
