Agogue Technologies Pvt Ltd’s Vehicle Tracking System (VTS) is an ele
ctronic device installed in a vehicle to enable the owner or a third party to track the vehicle’s location. It has a robust design and uses high sensitivity Global Positioning System (GPS) modules with Quad Band GSM modem for accurate, real-time location of the vehicle. Vehicle information can be viewed on electronic maps using internet or specialised software. The position of the vehicle is measured with an accuracy of 15 metres (2D RMS), seven metres (2D RMS, WAAS corrected) and 1-5 metres (DGPS corrected). The accuracy of velocity measured is 0.1 metres/second while time measured is accurate up to one microsecond. It generates many reports such as mileage, halts made by the vehicle, harsh acceleration, harsh deceleration, over speeding and specific areas & toll plazas crossed by the vehicle. It has LED indicators for GSM, GPRS and power supply. Route management, a built-in backup battery, and intelligent power management are some of the other features of the product. Optional features include a panic switch and immobiliser for theft prevention and various sms alerts.
