First World Symposium on Sustainable Transport and Livability (WSSTL-2025) at IISc Bangalore

The Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, together with the Special Interest Group (SIG)-F4 of WCTRS, is pleased to announce the 1st World Symposium on Sustainable Transport & Livability (WSSTL-2025). The event will be held at J N Tata Auditorium on the IISc Campus, Bangalore, from June 25 – 27, 2025. The symposium will bring together experts, policymakers, urban planners, researchers, and industry & community leaders on the same platform to discuss and contribute to the most pressing challenges and innovative solutions in sustainable transport and livability.

The WSSTL symposium series aims to create more sustainable, equitable, resilient, and livable urban environments worldwide by addressing the multifaceted challenges of urban transport and livability. Sustainable Transport and Livability (TSTL), Taylor & Francis, will support this symposium series.

 The WSSTL symposium series is conceived with the vision to achieve several significant impacts: knowledge dissemination, policy influence, interdisciplinary collaboration, capacity building, bringing community participation, encourage community leaders to discuss and share the common vision and benefit from the deliberations of the symposium and raising global awareness in improving the quality of life in developed and developing economies.
