C-DAC Thiruvananthapuram has deployed Wi-TraC, a wireless traffic signal controller developed by it, at one of the busy junctions in Thiruvanthapuram on a trial basis. If this proves successful, the problems posed by the conventional traffic signal controllers might become a thing of the past.
