After Himachal Pradesh, Mumbai, Kerala and Telangana, the state government of Delhi has initiated the trials of zero emission and noise- free Olectra-BYD’s 12meter electric bus – eBuzz K9 with a 35+1 (driver) seating capacity.The buses are designed and manufactured under a strategic tie-up between Olectra Greentech and Chinese auto major BYD Auto Industry. The eBuzz K9 model is driven by a formidable Lithiumion Iron Phosphate battery providing an unmatched ability of running up to 300kms on a single recharge. BYD’s buses were India’s first electric buses certified by Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI).
