Noida-Greater Noida Metro approved

The Uttar Pradesh government has given its approval for a new 30km long metro rail network between Noida and Greater Noida. The metro will have 22 stations, of which 13 will be constructed on ground while seven stations will be elevated. The UP government has directed the Noida and Greater Noida authorities to bear the cost of the proposed project. It will be funded by the Central, the state government and loans from external agencies.
