To make traffic movement smooth, Ahmadabad traffic police is going to put up traffic signals at 50 more places across the city.
The high court had ordered the Municipal Corporation and the Gujarat state government to carry out in-depth study of traffic movement in the city and come up with solution. Installing more traffic signals, clearing roads of encroachments, creating parking facilities, removing bumps, deployment of trained traffic personnel, removal of stray cattle from roads were some of the measures that the court had suggested.
