Maruti Suzuki plans to set up a logistic hub at Siliguri in West Bengal. The logistics centre is being planned on a 35-acre plot which the company has asked to be allotted to it in the upcoming industrial park at Siliguri that is being developed by the West Bengal Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (WBIIDC), the Kanchenjunga Integrated Infrastructure Development Private Limited and the Shristi Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited. Maruti plans to invest `80 crore in the project which will employ about 800 people when operational.
