J&K to get road project control rooms

The Jammu and Kashmir government will set up control rooms at the offices of Chief Engineers of major road projects in the state to monitor their progress and resolve issues. Control rooms will be set up in the offices of Chief Engineers of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sevak Yojana (PMGSY), Roads and Borders (R&B), Mechanical Engineering Department (MED), Jammu and Kashmir Project Construction Corporation and Project Mughal Road. The telephone numbers of the control rooms would be made public so that people can lodge their grievances for seeking redressal.
