IRDSA, a 100% owned subsidiary of IRD Inc. (International Road Dynamics, Canada) has been awarded three important road contracts in India. IRDSA is a market leader in ITS industry and is a preferred choice of concessionaires for its proven, innovative and evolved ITS systems. The first contract is for supplying toll systems for the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, one of the most prestigious infrastructure projects in India. Over 37,000 vehicles use the Bandra-Worli Sea Link which has cut down commuting time between Bandra and Worli from 60 minutes to seven minutes.The second project is to operate and maintain the 180 km long Delhi-Agra National Highway. IRDSA will oversee toll equipment, traffic management, road safety and route patrolling on the highway. The third contract is with IRB (Ideal Road Builders) for 20 lanes of toll on the Tumkur Chitradurga six lane highway providing its toll collection and revenue audit system.

Brad Wall, Premier of Saskatchewan, said on the occasion that these contracts marked the beginning of a new chapter in trade relations between India and Canada. According to Premier Wall, this shows that Saskatchewan companies are competing with the best companies anywhere in the world.
