A new system, to be launched by the Delhi Government– Google team, will provide real-time information on public transport, enabling commuters to accurately pre-plan their journeys. They would be able to use their smartphones and track bus locations, arrival and departure times, routes, travel durations and delays real-time. The status of ~3000 buses is already live and more Delhi Transport Corporation buses will be integrated soon.
