Badarpur Elevated Highway inaugurated

The recently inaugrated Delhi-Faridabad Elevated Highway, popularly known as the Badarpur Elevated Highway, will connect Delhi and Haryana. The project was commissioned by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and has been designed, engineered and constructed by the HCC Group with an investment of nearly र600 crore. It will improve travel time by over 40 minutes and will lead to large savings in fuel.

The Highway will be used by residents and interstate traffic on the Delhi-Faridabad-Mathura-Agra route, known as National Highway 2. The commuters will have the facility of using daily pass and monthly pass. It is claimed by HCC that the water conservation and ground water recharge initiatives undertaken in this project make it one of the first water positive infrastructure facilities in the country.
