Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has awarded a major contract worth ? 546 crore to a consortium of ITD Cementation and Italian-Thai Development Public Company, Thailand. The project involves among other things, construction of a 9,305m long elevated metro track and eight elevated metro stations as well as architectural finishing and drainage work, with a completion time of 30 months. The consortium recently completed other projects for DMRC ? structural work at five stations of the Delhi MRTS and construction of an 8,326 metre long twin bored underground metro tunnel.
