Under the Central Road Infrastructure Fund (CRIF), the Central Government has sanctioned projects covering almost 1,000 kilometers of road length across the state. The projects include 31 major district roads, eight state highways, and one more district road. The projects will address existing road conditions by upgrading key routes that serve both passenger and freight traffic. The focus will be on road surface strengthening, widening of existing lanes, and other improvements to ensure durability and safety.
