Soon, pavements in Mumbai will have a new look with stencil concrete cover, replacing paver blocks. According to BMC officials, the concrete footpath is less expensive compared to paver blocks and easy to maintain. There is more to make footpaths pedestrian-friendly and free of encroachments.
