Suresh Prabhu, Union Minister for Railways, recently flagged off a few important railway initiatives via video conferencing. These include Visatadome Coach and Mechanized Laundry under BOOT Model at Visakhapatnam and Life Line Express at Sindhudurg Maharashtra. He did this through Rail Sadan, Bhubaneshwar where he laid the foundation stone.
With features like rotable seats, GPS based info system, glass roof and LED lights, Vistadome coach will offer the tourists latest facilities so that they can enjoy scenic beauty at the destination and also benefit from the services throughout the journey. The Mechanised Laundry under BOOT Model at Visakhapatnam is being done to improve the quality of linen for enhanced passenger satisfaction.
