DDA to decongest roads and build Integrated Passenger terminals

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) plans to construct elevated roads and upgrade existing roads to provide seamless connectivity in the city without passing through the inner roads of Delhi. This would help decongest some of the critical roads in the city – Urban Extension Road-II, extension of Chattarpur & Mandi Road, Dwarka Expressway and new connections from Noida and Faridabad. DDA will also develop five transit hubs in the form of Integrated Passenger Terminals in the city. These hubs will seamlessly integrate different transportation modes such as airports, railway stations, local metro stations & buses with feeder services for last minute connectivit
y and also contain commercial hubs.
